Nikita was purchased from a breeder before being surrendered to an animal rescue shelter in Arkansas. She was pregnant at the time and shortly after being surrendered delivered her pups. Unfortunately a shelter is no place for pups to be born and despite extra medical care only four of her thirteen pups lived. The veterinarian believes the pups may have gotten distemper. Nikita was an excellent mom to her pups and would whine each time 1 was taken from her. This nice mom is now looking for a forever family who can take care of her like she cared for her pups Nikita loves being around her people and does not enjoy being alone. She loves playing with toys and Kongs. She will cry when left alone and she talks when she is excited.
