Job Overview Do you have the ability to multitask Are you great with time management and attention to detail Do you enjoy assessing operational needs of facilities and working with a team If so HealthRIGHT 360 is currently looking to fill a Maintenance Worker position opening at our North County Serenity House program in Escondido CA The ideal candidate has experience with maintenance and janitorial services as well as health and safety compliance knowledge and the ability to do administrative tasks. In this position you will gain experience assisting professional contractors and supervising residents assigned to maintenance and janitorial work. This non-profit multi-program multi-facility organization services a diverse population of women and women with children as well as men who are seeking recovery and transition from alcohol and drug addiction. Key Responsibilities Ensures all facility functions are operating properly Performs all aspects of facility and grounds maintenance including preventative corrective deferred and emergency maintenance Submits purchase orders and maintenance request forms elecontrically as well as other light administrative duties Assists with buidling compliance with all regulatory agencies funding sources certification and licensing boards Assists the Health & Safety Monitor with the compliance of site specific Emergency Response Plans Education Knowledge & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent Valid and clean California driver s license Knowledge of basic building trades techniques Handyman experience Experience with wide variety of construction tools methods and materials Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population while maintaining appropriate boundaries Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications specifically Word Outlook and Internet applications Ability to enter data into various electronic systems Professionalism punctuality flexibility and reliability are a must Excellent organizational skills Ability to multi-task and complete all tasks assigned within specified time restraints Must be able to safely comply with physical requirements of the job
