SUMMARY Management Business Solutions (MBS) is actively seeking an Accounting Manager for our non-profit client in Adrian MI. This person will be responsible for maintaining financial records and accounting policies procedures and internal controls to assure that financial information is accurate and up to date. The Accounting Manager will have 2 direct reports and will report to the Chief Financial Officer. RESPONSIBILITIES Accurately maintain the general ledger POS and OSAS. Prepare required audit documents. Ensure that accounts payable invoices are paid in a timely manner. Organize and submit transfer of funds request for payroll. Arrange new direct deposits at banking facilities. Perform bank reconciliations for the payroll and imprest funds accounts. Prepare Monthly Statistical Quarterly Wage Hour and 1028 fiscal reports. Enter ASR data that is collected. Manage the Accounts Receivable and Payroll activities. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration required. 2 years experience overseeing the accounting operations for an organization required. Experience with Open Systems Accounting Software NFP and Fund Accounting preferred Non-Profit experience is preferred.
