Aquatics Applicator duties include but are not limited to the following The Aquatics Applicator will perform field operations associated with the survey inspection and treatment of lakes ponds canals and various waterways for the control of aquatic weeds and algae. The Applicator will be trained to recognize problem weeds and to apply the appropriate herbicide to control or eliminate the aquatic weeds. The work will be performed outdoors on the water in an environment that may include heavy vegetation uneven terrain various species of wildlife and varying weather conditions using boats (including airboats) gators and backpack sprayers. Required Experience 1-3 years previous work experience in the Aquatic Services industry preferred Demonstrated knowledge of regional plant weed and algae identification preferred Previous airboat operation experience including ability to trailer and launch boat preferred Ability to travel to meet the needs of the business Valid drivers license and clean driving record Ability to obtain necessary state licenses Exceptional customer service skills Ability to read and follow maps Capability to lift up to 75 pounds and good physical dexterity College degree in related field (Biological Environmental sciences Wildlife and Fisheries Management etc.) preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience Possess high school level math skills Ability to effectively partner with cross functional teams to meet performance objectives and to support mission and vision and values of the Company The desire to learn and go above and beyond are an absolute must We offer an outstanding compensation and benefits package (including medical dental life disability 401k and profit sharing).
