Adirondack Audio & Video is seeking an installer for high-end electronics. Once trained you will be responsible for the installation and troubleshooting of stereo home theater and full home control systems networks surveillance systems and commercial audio and video systems. Many involve programming using special computer software. The successful candidate for this position should have at least a basic knowledge of computers home audio and or video technology simple networking skills and - most importantly - the desire and motivation to learn more. Whole-house automation systems involve the integration of audio video lighting HVAC surveillance and - in some cases - motorized shades spas etc. Mastering the skills necessary to install and to service these systems can take months or even years so any serious applicant should be thinking long-term. This is a full-time position and will require occasional travel (for both training and installations). Pay will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
