1988 BMW M6

1988 BMW M6 was purchased new from Heishman BMW in Arlington VA in December of 1988 by it s original owner R. Utne who owned it up until June of 2014. The car is in excellent condition. Interior is all original with slight wear on driver side seat bolster. Floor mats are new genuine BMW e24 mats in charcoal. All dash and check warning lights work except the SRS warning light does stays illuminated after the system check. The headrest motors work however the headrests don t move up down unless you give them a hand physically. Paint is very shiny and glossy but has some small scratches swirls and very few rock chips on the front lower clip. No rust dents or dings. All panels have vin tags. Not sure if the paint is original everywhere as I can tell the lower front bumper has been resprayed. Car is completely stock and original condition except the self leveling suspension (SLS) springs shocks were removed and capped off and replaced with H& R Bilstein springs shocks because the rear shocks were leaking. This was done in Sept 2014 and the stock SLS suspension comes with the car if desired. The car also has a hand painted M pinstripe from front to rear. Other recent work done in the last year - New Front Strut Mount - New Front Brake Rotors and Pads - New Brake Pad Sensor - New Temp Sending Unit - New Thermostat - New Battery - New Alternator Bushing - New Exhaust (OEM factory new) - New Exhaust Hanger - New Expansion Tank Breather Hos - New Shift Lever Bushing - New Shift Bushing for Shift Lever Pivot - New Bushing for Shift Lever Support Arm - New Ball Cap Bushings Tires are hard to find Michelin TRX. Two of the tires are less than a year old with under 1 000 miles on them and 95% tread. The other two have well over 80% tread. Car is very original from the break in miles sticker still on the windshield to the tool kit glove box flashlight and spare tire. Car has approximately 32 400 miles at time of writing but I do drive it at least once a week and might add another 40-50 miles. I m happy to answer any questions William84Jacob(at)outlook.com
