DSP (DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL)

Looking for a Bi-Lingual Spanish English person who has experience working with persons with Intellectual Disabilities. This person must have a current driver s license car car insurance CPR First Aid and safety training and have DSP1 and DSP2. If you do not have DSP 1-2 you can finished the training within your first year of employment with Empowerment and Options LLC. If you are not bi-lingual you can still apply. Duties Include but not Limited to Educating individuals in life skills training for example independent living skills which include cooking skills hygiene household chores banking money management skills menu planning mobility training social and communication skills making doctor s and dental appointments etc. This job may entail working some weekends but it is a full time position. Executive Director is willing to train interested parties in working with clients. This job entails you working with the clients in their homes and out in the community.
