Sushi House Japanese Restaurant in Duncan is looking for a high skilled Sushi Chef. Requirements Over 3 years of experience in Japanese food cooking is required Completion of high school education is required Basic English speaking is required Wage C 17.50 hour with 40 hours working week including 10 paid holidays per year Job duties - Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities on Japanese cuisine including sushi and sashimi - Plan menus and create recipe and ensure food meets quality standards - Estimate food requirements and may estimate food and labour costs - Supervise activities of cooks and kitchen staff - Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs - Prepare and cook food on a regular basis and or for special guests Please send your resume to sushihouseduncan(at)gmail.com We welcome applications from underrepresented groups including new immigrants old workers youths and first nations.
