CTI meat processing is a rapidly growing 400 million dollar food manufacturer has openings for experienced Safety Manager This position is responsible for the following essential functions Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for all employees and insuring CTI locations comply with all OSHA regulations. Through analysis and investigation define problem opportunity areas develop and implement training programs and policies to address the problem areas and meet OSHA requirements. In addition this position will direct the new employee training program at CTI Foods. Conduct direct safety training of all supervisors and employees at all locations to insure a thorough knowledge and understanding of safety rules regulations and guidelines. Supervise direct the employee trainers at CTI Foods. Maintain verify employee training records are up to date and accurate. Develop source safety programs and training materials as needed Insure operations comply with all OSHA state and federal regulations. This includes implementing new programs within OSHA time frames. Direct employee trainer activities to meet plant needs. Position Qualifications Fundamental knowledge of plant operations. Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor s degree in Safety Engineering or Occupational Health or comparable work experience. Certifications Training Required OSHA - train the trainer certification Forklift Training Hazwoper Level 3 First Aid CPR Training (instructor preferred) Blood Borne Pathogens (instructor preferred) Competitive benefits package including medical dental and Vision insurance 401k short & long term disability coverage and a generous vacation plan.
