NJ Defense works is currently looking for 15 security officers for FT PT work and four positions for weekends only. Starting wage rates of 9- 16.50 per hour depending on experience and position. Minimum qualification for this position Must be 18 or older Must be able to pass background check Must have no felony Must be able to pass a drug screening Must be able to stand or sit for a long period of time Must have general computer skills Great customer service skills. Must be willing to work under supervision Must be willing to wear uniform and badge Job duties (include but are not limited to) Verify employees ID Log people in and out of the building Watch CCTV Answering and transfer phone calls Do perimeter check around the building Floor patrol Enforcement of safety regulations Investigate and reports on accidents or any doubuful activities safety and fire hazards and other security related situations to supervisor or follow-up actions.
