MORNING SUN ENTERPRISE LTD O A Asahi Japanese Restaurant in Port Coquitlam is looking for a Full-Time and Permanent Line Cook (Japanese Cuisine) -Position Line Cook (Japanese Cuisine) -Work Hours 8 hrs per day 40 hrs per week (full-time) Permanent -Wage 15.00 16.00 hour -Benefit 10 days paid vacation per year Requirements - Experience Minimum 1 2 years of experience in Japanese cooking is required - Language Basic English speaking is required - Education Completion of High School education is required Job Duties - Plan prepare and complete Japanese foods including teriyakis and various U-don and trendy and fusion menu and the sauces used for Japanese cooking. - Transfer advanced cooking skills to other kitchen staffs. - Create and develop new and trendy menu and special dishes - Determine size of food portions and display the complete foods - Store ingredients and raw materials on proper temperature - Supervise and educate kitchen staff and helpers - Maintain work area clean We welcome applications from underrepresented groups including newcomers older workers youths and first nations.
