Support Services Technician Join the staff of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) and become part of Oklahoma s premier research university which leads the state in education and career opportunities. OUHSC is one of only four comprehensive academic health centers in the nation with seven professional colleges. We are currently building world-class institutes for the treatment of diabetes and cancer. The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City has an opening for a full-time Support Services Technician. The successful candidate will provide prompt accurate and courteous assistance to customers. Enters retrieves corrects and maintains data in the parking and citation computers. Receives payments for citations and parking permits following proper cash handling reconciling procedures and makes bank deposits. Answers telephone and radio calls. General bookkeeping duties. Miscellaneous typing and filing. Other duties as assigned. Requirements High School diploma or GED and 12 months office clerical and or customer service experience (a minimum of 6 months of the experience must include cash handling and basic reconciliation experience). Skills Excellent customer service Typing Basic understanding of EXCEL Computer skills Ability to remain calm in stressful situations Telephone skills Cash handling Skills Ability to make appropriate decisions Be self-motivated Ability to communicate effectively. Preference Have at least one year experience in customer service.
