Job Summary Exercise excellent customer service while interacting with patients both over the phone and in person. Coordinate and organize appointments and administration to facilitate the efficient running of the dental office. Qualifications General education degree or high school diploma Knowledge of dental terminology procedures and diagnosis Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures Working knowledge of dental insurance Basic clerical and administrative skills Excellent customer service skills with professional and courteous phone etiquette Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Computer Skills To perform this job successfully an individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
