Interior The interior upholstery was all redone to show specifications and looks like new. The door panels are excellent as is the carpeting. The dash surfaces and all of the instruments are in excellent cosmetic condition as well. Engine The engine is a totally rebuilt 1957 283 V-8 with Power Pack that operates on lead-free gasoline. The fully-detailed V-8 sits in an equally nicely detailed engine bay. Transmission The recently rebuilt three-speed manual transmission equipped with the overdrive option shifts as smoothly as silk The car has limited slip to help harness the engine s power at the back wheels. Chassis The underside of this Bel Air convertible is consistent with a frame-off show-quality restoration with only 6 983 careful miles thereafter (see pictures). It is of course free of any visible rust or corrosion.
