As a Systems Control Project Manager you participate in all aspects of projects including such areas as planning scheduling scope management communication management issue risk management resource management change management quality management and financial management. RESPONSIBILITIES. Facilitate effective communication with internal and external customers providing frequent specific updates regarding current projects. Interpret customer specifications and provide a design which meets all requirements especially schedule. Understand the theories and fundamentals of electrical circuits and related components. Design control circuits and present them on elementary drawings. Work safely in and around energized electrical enclosures. Manage multiple complex projects from concept to completion. Recognize a need for and champion process and product improvements. Customer visits (travel approximately 10% of the time). SALARY BENEFITS. MINIMUM & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS. Bachelor s Degree in Engineering related field or Associate s Degree in Engineering related field combined with 3 years relevant work experience. 1 year experience in a related engineering co-op or internship position required. Project management experience preferred. Basic understanding of AC and DC circuits. Experience reading schematics and wiring diagrams. Basic understanding of protective relaying and communication devices such as Microprocessor Based Protection and Control Relays RTU Equipment Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word Excel Access and Outlook. Strong attention to detail. Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) as well as solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Unrestricted right to work in the United States required.
