2008 Ducati 848 (Grants Pass)

The Ducati 848 was pretty much the same motorcycle as the 1098 sold the same year. The difference was in the engine and some of the hardware but with less gyroscopic effect coming form the engine (which put out more then eleven HORSEPOWER then the 996) it took less effort to transition from side to side then the bigger 1098. It was a middle weight Sport Bike with serious power and a great chassis that was less effort to ride on the twisties then its bigger brother. Top speed was said to be over 150 mph so it does give 1 pause to wonder why the extra weight was a bonus. The media went over the top at the time writing about the bike and it was a hit.This particular bike is a single owner with less then 3000mis on it. It was offered the standard accessories any Ducati owner insist on before leaving the dealership Termignoni Exhaust System a Speedymoto Upper Triple Clamp and a part I have not seen before an adjustable FG Gubellini Steering Damper. Cosmetically the bike is stunning....
