Grant Manager &ndash OK-LSAMP

Manage the short-term and long-term issues associated with a federal grant which includes the statewide Louis Stokes undergraduate award and two Bridge to the Doctorate awards (OSU and OU). Work closely with the Principal Investigator and the Campus Coordinators on the 11 campuses. Work closely with the project evaluator (one for the LSAMP program and one for the OSU BD program). Maintain the financial records for all subawards and Bridge to the Doctorate funds. Coordinate with national agencies and universities for summer internships and other research opportunities for scholars throughout the Alliance. Dispense information to Alliance schools for internships REUs and additional research opportunities including but not limited to conference presentations international experiences and graduate school information. Schedule and moderate on-campus meetings for the OSU scholars and Bridge to the Doctorate students organize Alliance meetings with Campus Coordinators and advisory councils and visit alliance institutions as necessary. Coordinate aspects of the Annual Research Symposium (securing speakers venue food presenters etc. associated with a conference of over 250 individuals). Required qualifications Bachelor degree in Science Math Science Education and related fields and five years of college teaching and advising undergraduate students with either one year of basic or applied research or work experience with programs for underrepresented students. Additional education may be substituted for required years of experience. Must be knowledgeable of electronics communication word processing spreadsheets and Database management.
