We are looking for the best talent in the industry to join us on this exciting adventure The Talent Sourcing Specialist IT Partner is a new position that will have an impact on this growth and change. It will be an integral member of our Talent Management and IT team. This role will be a critical component in helping LifeWay create and foster a reputation as a great employer for technology talent. It combines research consultative and advocacy skills in order to deliver extraordinary service to internal customers. The individual in this role must be a strong networker adept at building relationships both internally and externally as well as be comfortable using a collaborative approach for getting work done. The role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to develop both immediate and long-term sourcing plans. This may include constructing target lists of companies and candidates coordinating internal and external research resources contacting high-potential prospects maintaining progress reports and documenting candidate qualifications. The ideal Talent Sourcing Specialist IT Partner will possess the ability to proactively identify top level talent through a variety of sourcing tactics on an ongoing basis. Other critical talents include identifying a short-list of candidates for recruiters to pre-screen reviewing pipeline for current and future needs conducting research and proactively sourcing candidates by using a variety of methodologies such as resume mining professional networking social media direct sourcing internet recruiting and cold calling. Essential Job Functions Develops relationships with a variety of sources i.e. companies community organizations professional associations high schools technical colleges and universities in order to develop talent pipeline and expand LifeWay s employer brand Networks extensively and utilize multiple sourcing avenues (e.g. data mining internet sourcing identification of passive seekers. Keeps abreast of market trends and tracks competitive best practices. Utilizes a variety of sources i.e. industry directories networking resume databases direct sourcing research internet recruiting networking advertising job fairs associations career events and college recruiting to develop a target list of active and passive candidates. Prepares candidate brief for qualified candidates to present to recruiter for further review. Partners with IT recruiter to review candidates and job requirements and adjusts sourcing strategy and tactics accordingly. Note Other job duties as assigned.
