THIS WAS POSTED ON 3 3 16.Max is a black lab mix who is very affectionate. He loves to run and roll around in the backyard for fun and when he comes inside he simply plops down on his bed and rests. He will sit on the couch if you let him but he isn t used to that being allowed. He is very gentle with kids although sometimes forgets how big he is. He has had some training and knows basic commands such as sit stay lets go go to bed wait take it. He sleeps in our master bedroom on a dog bed in the past he slept in a crate. When we are gone he stays in a crate and can get bored and start chewing if left for too long. He has shown curiosity in our cat but has never been aggressive and is actually afraid of the cat if he meows. Max loves his foster sibling another black lab mix but he has snarled at another dog before. He didn t act on it and has seen other dogs and not done it so we are not sure what that situation was about. Max needs a home with a large fenced yard and somewhere that he isn t crated all day. He doesn t bark often but when he does you can definitely tell he is a hound mix He is house trained and a really loving dog in search of his furever home. He has had all his shots and he has been neutered.
