For Sale is this very nice Triumph Trident in Excellent Condition It has been in long term storage and has had a full and thorough recommissioning over the last few weeks. It runs very well without smoke or strange noises starts on the electric and kick start everything works exactly as it should and looks pretty as well. Work done recently includes a full service a new Boyer electronic ignition all new flexible brake pipes a new front master cylinder new indicators clutch cable headlamp grab rail front mudguard and battery. It has just passed the MOT test with no advisories. It has had a new paint on the petrol tank air cleaner and side panels. The exhaust pipes are a little dull and there is no key for the steering lock. A kilometre speedo is fitted. The headlamp hangers and silencers are pitted but have cleaned up fairly well. These bikes are becoming increasingly collectable and it s easy to see why. The look great are powerful and don t shake the electric start is strong and the brakes are good. They handle well have a decent seat height and are easy to put on the centre stand. This bike will be eligible for historic tax status within the next 12 months. The V5 states that the bike was first registered in 1995 so it s fair to assume that it s spent some time abroad but I don t have any records. All in all a very usable classic with great investment potential and thoroughly usable. It is now 40 years old but it s condition reflects the opinion that it has not had a huge amount of use it could easily be taken to the top level but does stand scrutiny now.
