LOOKING FOR AFFORDABLE RENTAL

I am a 54 year old woman with a background of petty theft due to drug addiction. I served 4 years recently in a correctional facility and have been released back into the society that said i would be rehabilitated at my stay in prison and given back my opportunity as a productive member of society. I have not been given that chance ive been home 1 year and a half now and i have to work 2 part time jobs at minimum wage to try to support myself. i am active in my support groups i continue to make probation visits and am on the minimum requirement of supervision i maintain therapudic visits monthly along with phsychriatic appoointments i remain drug and alcohol free now 6 years with no criminal activity. I have reunited with my family and have each day focused on my relationship with my higher power that has opened up a fenomonal relationships with my 6 children and my 7 grandchildren with one on the way. I have struggled with housing due to the background checks that enable me to find adequate housing. My 2 youngest children and myself are attempting to reside in a home together but cannot because of my public record and inability to work a full time job at better than minimum wages as to assist in the contributions necessary to maintain a standard of living. We 3 together make wages to accomodate oursleves but are hindered due to my status...neither of us can make it on our own and the seperation we have endured has been tough.
