AMI Estimator Job Description & General Requirements Job Description Understand and have knowledge of mechanical HVAC and plumbing piping systems that require insulation Evaluate bid specifications and drawings Ensure that all requirements are met in order to successfully bid and win the project Prepare and submit proposals Aggressively follow up with contractors to ensure bids are received General Requirements Must have experience reading blueprints and doing take-offs Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must know how to utilize Microsoft Office products including Word Excel and Project Must be self-motivated and punctual Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills both internally and externally Must be professional and polished in appearance and speech Starting pay is 22.50 per hour with room for wage increase and bonuses.
