This Beautiful 1974 GTO is original and extremely Rare. Pontiac Historical Services lists this as 1 of 687 Produced. Factory 12 bolt rear differential with Safe-T-Track posi in dash tachometer and included is a extremely rare tent option. The tent fits around the back hatch and the back seat fold down flat. Tent poles are included. The new engine is a High Performance engine built by Larry Hansen Racing of New York. 455 Block 428 Crank (revs like a small block) 6760 Eagle H-beam Rods Sig Erson Solid cam 246 518 lift Full Floating Speed Pro Pistons 72 cc Edelbrock RPM Heads all stainless steel valves roller rockers Edelbrock Torker II intake with a 950 Holley DP MSD 6A Ignition system. The engine Value alone is 10-11k. Brand New Richmond Super Street 5 speed overdrive with Long shifter Lakewood Scatter shield 11 Advanced Clutch Technology pressure plate and disc New Chassis works crossmember New flywheel bushing throw-out fork and bell crank. New High Torque starter New ceramic coated Doug Thorley headers 2-1 2 exhaust flowmasters crankcase evacuation system Milodon racing oil pan with windage tray. The original radiator with a large cooling fan cools the engine. The Trans Am style hood scoop is factory original and unlike the Trans Ams the GTO hood scoop was functional. The original actuator is gone but I am including new conversion parts from Ames performance. The front shock absorbing canisters have been removed and custom made aluminum brackets now holds the filled and re-chromed bumper in place. The underside of the car has been steam cleaned and repainted chassis black. New fuel tank float assembly and straps a new AGM sealed battery is in the trunk and connected to a quick disconnect switch. The Rally wheels and trim rings are original and in excellent condition. The entire front suspension has been rebuilt and includes a new steering box. Needs to have front end alignment. This car is comfortable to drive and has the factory installed tilt wheel. I was building this car to be a street sleeper but have decided to move on to other hobbies. This car gets a lot of attention and needs very little to be finished.
