Sr Associate AD Facilities Maintenance and Capital Improvements

Provide leadership and guidance in setting the vision mission and goals for the development of new and ongoing maintenance of existing Athletic Facilities. Responsibilities include implementation of applicable portions of the VP for Athletics vision and goals developing and adherence to the unit budget developing and implementing policies and procedures for the unit supervision of various mangers within the unit and insuring unit compliance with applicable OSU and Athletics policy and procedures. Travel outside of the immediate Stillwater vicinity would be infrequent. The purpose of such travel would be to attend related conferences evaluate systems and products. While the schedule normally follows a standard business day the position is expected to generally be available on a 24-hour basis to respond to any facilities maintenance concerns. Lifting chemicals electrical mechanical hazards heat and confined space entries. Examples may include chemicals used in maintenance operations sewer backups heat and exposure to dust and other similar conditions situations within facilities operations. Required qualifications Bachelor s Degree Construction Mgmt Civil Engineering Architecture Business Administration or related field and 7-10 years related experience to include 5 years minimum supervisor managerial experience. Supervisory skills knowledge of University and departmental policies knowledge of daily maintenance activities involving multiple facilities operations.
