They are currently looking for an Exp Bilingual Nortel Avaya On-Site Technician. This is a permanent position. Location Sainte Therese QC SUMMARY The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing Sainte Therese QC and surrounding areas day to day installation and maintenance of Nortel & Avaya telephone technology and other Voice and Data Systems. Position requires providing onsite installations testing maintenance repair and service. Desired Skills & Experience Install configure maintain and upgrade systems serviced by Client Install remove repair and maintain telephone systems and associated hardware Test telephone systems to detect faults Repair or replace defective telephone equipment Repair or replace switching systems and associated equipment Determine the nature cause and location of failures Switch network installation and repair Telecommunication service testing Telecommunication equipment At least two solid years of Nortel on -site service experience Implement Quality of Service within the data Network Provide technical support for client installation and service technicians. Other Duties as instructed QUALIFICATIONS Degree or Certifications in Telecommunications or Electronics and Engineering Experienced with implementation integrating and supporting Nortel Products including Voice Systems Call Center and Voice Mail Experienced with Nortel telephony and Call Pilot voicemail multimedia solutions is a must Must be certified in Nortel Norstar BCM CS1K Shoretel and other similar products.
