Turf Hotel (1967) Ltd. 12411 King George Blvd. Surrey BC V3V 3K3 Hiring Position Hotel Managing Supervisor The Hotel Managing Supervisor supervise and co-ordinate the day to day activities of the hotel and will report directly to the Operation Controller. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate reservations check-in and check-out guests Ensure guest room are cleaned in a timely fashion (with the help of housekeepers) Report to management regularly Supervise and establish Front Office s proper standards policies and procedures Hire and train staff in job duties safety procedures and company policies Maintains procedures for security of monies guest security and emergency procedures Response to guest requests or complaints in a professional manner and ensure that appropriate action is taken Follow company policies and procedures and effectively supervise and communicate to other employees of the hotel Make sure all the hotel equipment are working and arrange for repair and maintenance if necessary Other duties as assigned by management Requirements Minimum of 2 years Front Office Supervisory management experience Must be available to work nights weekends and holidays when required. Required to be on call when away from work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills combined with a high level of initiative Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer services Stamina and the ability to work under stress good at thinking quickly and sorting out problems on the spot and the ability to stay calm in a crisis Able to work on own initiative Salary starting from 20 hour (40 hours per week) and will be dependent upon experience.
