SummaryThis part-time role will staff the retail store in Bend OR participate in day-to-day operations and provide exceptional customer service to achieve revenue goals as outlined by the Store Manager. S he will uphold our company s mission and will be a voice in the community using the store as a classroom to bring the issues to life while educating and inspiring our customers.Essential Job FunctionsRetail Sales and Customer Service Utilize product knowledge and excellent customer service to engage educate and capture the Tentsile consumer. Cater to new and existing customers always thinking out of the box on innovative sales and consumer activation strategies. Communication Communicate with the Store Manager regularly and work with them in day-to-day operations. Review on a monthly basis the store s progress with the Store Manager. Training and Development Develop and support a positive attitude toward Tentsile LLC. Maintain knowledge of current product use and technical standards to ensure both product and systems expertise that will improve store operations and allow for unparalleled customer service. Local Activism Cultivate a showroom environment that is a hub for the community Work with the Store Manager to align our brand with local businesses and grassroots groups with similar missions. Other Job Functions Work at least one weekend day and be flexible for occasional evening or special event staffing. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager and Leadership Team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand walk for extended periods of time necessary to provide sales floor coverage related to customer service and loss prevention. Ability to reach overhead bend squat kneel and carry product necessary for customer service inventory restock and store merchandising. Ability to walk up and down staircase carrying boxes product and other necessary store related items. Ability to perform store maintenance sweep vacuum empty trash clean bathroom etc. Ability to safely lift boxes up to 55 lbs. Comfortable climbing ladders Minimum Job Qualifications Two years experience in retail sales. Outdoor Sporting Goods Industry experience preferred. Willingness to maintain high standards of performance. Mac and Microsoft proficient. Strong initiative and independent working skills Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Excellent organizational skills accuracy and attention to detail. Flexibility ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and changes in strategies. Strong problem-solving skills.
