About me My Story Haley s Comet Addiction & Counseling Services is an online 24 7 hotline owned and operated by Michael Haley. I have been an addictions counselor for over 6 years now. I have always wanted to help people less fortunate ever since I was in junior high. I volunteered my time at shelters and with the Best Buddy System. During high school and university I worked at Special Care Homes working with clients with Alzheimers Schizophrenia bi polar and young children and teens with mental disabilities. After graduating university with my Bachalor of Arts in Psychology I decided to specialize in Addictions working with various states and conditions of drug and alcohol abuse. I am also trained in concurrent disorder treatment. I have decided to carry on my love and passion of helping people by creating this hotline for those who need advice or an ear to listen during tough times.
