Purpose The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work first hand with mining sourcing screening interviewing and references of candidates. You are constantly interacting with an assortment of people so interpersonal and communication skills are key JOB DESCRIPTION Identify and implement best practices to enhance staffing productivity and recruiting quality. To attract the highest quality of candidate you will be accustomed to sourcing candidates with a myriad of disciplines and experiences through referrals networking targeted recruiting Internet mining and various other means Advise job applicants on employment requirements and on terms and conditions of employment Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and arrange transfers redeployment and placement of personnel manage the recruitment workflow in its entirety including in-depth needs identification with hiring assisting with writing and posting job descriptions candidate sourcing screening interviewing references salary negotiations and offers Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures Organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process Determine eligibility to entitlements arrange staff training and provide information or services such as employee assistance counselling and recognition programs May supervise personnel clerks performing filing and record-keeping duties.
