SCOPE This position is responsible for the achievement of excellent Customer Satisfaction results Remote Solutions Performance and to help submit new information to company s knowledge base for troubleshooting the Online Support Assistant web tool. This will be accomplished through effective telephone support for calls that are initiated from customers employees and partners. Enabled by technology the effective use of existing resources and coupled with strong basic technical skills aptitude and networking knowledge the successful candidate will have personal ownership of their individual performance & development and be required to contribute to our solutions management process and input to the Online Support Assistant web tool. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Drive best in class results in Remote Solutions while maintaining high customer satisfaction results. Provide diagnostics on technical software (multiple products) and connectivity problems (eg. TCP IP DHCP LDAP SMNP SMTP FTP SMB AppleTalk). Provide remote call assistance through the use of the knowledge base for troubleshooting - the Online Support Assistant. Escalate complex problems requiring a lab to our partners in Saint John. Initiate the service call process when appropriate. Provide prompt courteous and professional telephone support to both Customers and Service Representatives Support teamwork within the group as well as with our 2nd level partners Maintain and grow product & technical knowledge Understand and fully comply with the organizations processes and procedures. SKILLS Ability to demonstrate previous success related to technical solutions delivery as well as a solid foundation in connectivity concepts and applications Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot and problem solve. Ability to demonstrate strong communication and customer relations skills Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised with maturity and self-confidence Ability to demonstrate resiliency working under pressure. Ability to demonstrate organization prioritization and attention to detail. Demonstrate ability to be a strong team player and work effectively in a team environment. Bilingualism would be considered an asset but not required. EXPERIENCE Minimum-n a. Preferred- 2 years related work experience. EDUCATION Minimum-High School Diploma.
