Currently seeking PRN applicants & Full Time interested in working our 7-3 3pm to 11pm & 11pm to 7am on a contract basis and prn in a Nursing Home. Job Requirements Current certification as a GNA in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing Must be able to read write speak and understand the English language. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel residents family members visitors government agencies personnel and the general public. Must provide documentation of such certification upon application for the position. Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the work place. Uses Point Click Care (PCC --POC) according to the Business Processes Performs other duties as requested. Must have the Following on date of application. Current Background check within 12 months of hire date. CPR (Every 2 years) Online CPR is now acceptable. CNA Waived in all States References 2 References required 1 Supervisory and 1 Employment Verification. Hepatitis B Signed declination or proof of series of titers within one year of hire date. Physical Statement of good health signed by physician within 12 months of hire date. PPD TB Screen - TB Skin Test (PPD) (Annual) negative results within 12 months prior to hire date. Positive result will require proof of positive reading Chest X-ray (radiology report showing clear results) that is less than 5 years old accompanied by an annual TB Questionnaire after the 1st year. Resume must have experience in a LTC facility (geriatric rehabilitation nursing home). (Minimum ) CNA 6 months current continuous experience RN LPN 12 months current continuous experience.
