Job Description WriterLOB Digital Transformation and DeliveryProject Writing content for the entire website in relation to advice Direct Self-Directed mobile demos and surveys help screens instructional information tutorial scripts ad badges frequently asked questions emails and communication briefs) to ensure that information is accurate relevant and timely.Responsibilities Write edit and or review all site copy for web properties (e.g. adviceDirect self-directed mobile demos surveys help screens instructional information tutorial scripts ad badges FAQs briefs emails) writing web content and tablet content and mobile - ALL digital channels (NO print) competent writing skills (being able to relate to the consumer and how they would view the page and write it in the appropriate language using the correct terminologies) Writing for instructional copy table headers error messages etc. small component of client focus writing ensuring brand consistency throughout the project Accountable to take a proactive approach in making recommendations and enhancements to improve communications. Assess the quality of the web priorities from a communication perspective and make recommendations to product manager to enhance the client experience with more effective communications. Assess competitive sites and information to remain on top of communication trends in the industry and make recommendations to improve content. Participate in user acceptance testing activities for site content and publish the content via the CMS tool according to defined timelines and protocols. Writing online usability tests and surveys to assist in the evaluation future website enhancements Develop message content implement targeting and promote messages to various web channels including message centre message boards pop-ups. Monitor and maintain corporate communication standards to ensure a consistency in tone and manner in all client communications Implement all client messaging on behalf of Operations on the web IVR on a real-time and ad hoc urgent requests and coordinate messaging in all required languages Develop and implement day-to-day content changes and updates to websites Develop content to support marketing programs and campaigns for acquisition retention and growth Responsible for periodic content updates using web publishing tools Manage the approval process for all aspects of the web content changes including reviews by LOB Legal Compliance and Translation Coordinate translations as required (they will be in charge of the French website as well)Must Have Skills University degree in Business Marketing or other relevant education Minimum of 2 years communications content writing experience with an understanding of direct investing and or web design (open to agency and or FI experience) Experience executing a successful online customer experience from a content perspective Working knowledge of Brokerage business organization and interrelationships with other areas of the Company Working knowledge of HTML5 past experience writing for a website understanding of financial investing or online brokerage and able to effectively write content in this area very much a team player - very focused around a team environment Nice to Have Skills Experience with Content Management tools (WordPress Adobe etc.) Previous experience writing for the Wealth Management industry Bilingual (French English)Attributes Expert communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work independently with a disciplined and organized approach Ability to bring complex communication materials to life through effective collaboration and facilitation Proven ability in layout design and visual communication Working knowledge of marketing principles In-depth analytical and problem solving skills Working time management skills and organization skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced changing priorities and technology Please note that this is the most up to date version of job description available at this time During Client Interview you will receive additional information variance may apply When you have some time please register in our database (5 minute process) to be considered for future openings the link is available on our website at www.teamrecruiter.com in the Candidate section.
