Established and growing substance abuse treatment facility is looking for an experienced F T Human Resource Generalist. Responsibilities include but are not limited to Assist in developing job requirements and descriptions for all positions Assist in supporting management by providing human resources advice counsel and decisions Assist in complying with federal state and local legal requirements and DOL regulations Assist in representing the needs of operations with policy development training needs and compensation administration Assist in proactively addressing and resolving Human Resources-related issues Assist in keeping all employee files up to date and to DCF and accreditation requirements Qualifications Bachelor s Degree preferred Minimum of 3 to 5 years Human Resources experience preferably in Substance Abuse Treatment Excellent organization communication and interpersonal skills Ability to convey a positive and professional image to employees Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude Salary commensurate with experience.
