My client is well-established major bank situated in Toronto ON. They are looking for a Jr. Tax Analyst (Wealth mgmt FATCA Bank exp) This is a 10 month contract position with a very strong possibility of extension. This role will be assisting with the ongoing project from Client Tax & Reporting perspective. Assist in the analysis of processes business issues procedures that will be created in the new and or revised processes that adhere to financial and regulatory requirements regarding harmonization process. There will be a heavy focus on reporting this person will need to be proficient with Excel. Please include test scores with submissions.Top 3 skills Proficient with Excel Pivot tables and V-lookup Analytical Detail oriented along with a high level of accuracyRESPONSIBILITIES Attend regular project meetings representing Client Tax & Reporting. Identify opportunities for process improvement and initiate changes when needed during the meeting Provide input and analysis into the improvement of business processes and procedures of the program. Participate in the planning testing and implementation of the project for the new revised processes. Identify business process gaps efficiency and control issues in timely fashion recommend solutions and escalate unusual issues to senior team members. Receive track and escalate requests from other teams and internal business partners for topic clarifications and process gaps. Review training tools created for assigned initiatives ensuring compliance to process requirements. Provide advice to internal business partners and peers to support the completion of a process or activity within established procedures.
