Our client is well established Academic Institution looking for Oracle Enterprise DBA Linux Banner Location Etobicoke ON Duration 6 months contract position with strong possibility of extension Oracle DBA - Banner Enterprise Application Resource Required Skills Experience Oracle Hands on Oracle Database 11g 10 years Administration experience Hands on Oracle Database 12c 1 years Administration experience Oracle Grid Control 5 years Operational management of a complex ERP system 5 years Administration experience Oracle RAC environments 5 years ODS Hands on experience Operational Data Store 5 years Materialized Views 3 years Data Warehouse experience Cognos 10.x 3 years Server Experience with Redhat Linux 6.x 6 years Experience with VMware 6 years. Nice to Have Skills Experience Prior experience with Banner ERP ITIL Java scripting Higher Education experience Duties Responsible for the architecture design implementation & or use of database & middleware applications to ensure that any changes to these environments provides optimum performance reliability & security Translate functional requirements as provided by the functional team into BI technical specifications design and execution Work with the functional team to validate requirements Problem resolution will include resource allocation & coordination requests receipt monitoring of resolution progress provision of status updates to groups as appropriate & ultimately validation of implemented solutions Perform administrative functions including JIRA updates reports and documentation.
