This position includes handling blood and urine specimens. Prepare process and store patient specimens and samples according to departmental procedures using standard techniques and equipment. Candidate must also be able to utilize standard procedures for the maintenance of positive patient identification. Prepare and organize patient specimens for testing. Collect urine specimens for drug screening. Transport specimens to the laboratory for testing as well as deliver blood sample reports to various offices as required.
