One of our IT Consulting clients is looking for Business Consultant (SAP Basis Administration) Length Contract term is 6 months with a strong possibility of an extension Location Winnipeg MBJOB DUTIES Provide business domain solutions process strategy business case and change consulting to clients for SAP Basis applications and related RDBMS products particularly Oracle database software. Role is responsible for SAP Basis administration and database administration for multi-client SAP environments. Role is expected to have occasional on-call responsibilities as well as interaction with clients for consultation project execution SAP landscape performance tuning and other activities associated with support of leveraged SAP environments. Candidate is expected to have 5-7 years of experience in an SAP environment with progressive levels of Basis knowledge. Experience working with any of SAP HANA SAP Mobility Cloud Computing for SAP and SAP Virtualization technology is considered advantageous. SAP Basis administration experience (5-7 years required) Database Administration experience for Oracle Sybase DB2 SQL Server (5-7 years required) UNIX Linux Administration (knowledge required) Experience demonstrating technical depth in SAP Business Objects administration Strong knowledge of installation troubleshooting monitoring upgrading and performance tuning of Business Objects suite to include web tier SSL certificate installation load balancing Administration and configuration in CMC and Data Federation Administration Tool Knowledge of Universe Designer knowledge (IDT) Knowledge of SAP Business Objects applications (Web Intelligence Crystal Reports) Familiar with Business Objects security model Infrastructure networking technologies (experience required) SAP Security administration (experience preferred but not required) Knowledge of SAP application management and development (ABAP Java) (experience preferred) Able to support nights and weekends occasional on-call 24 x 7 workload requirements Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients with strong verbal and written skills Able to collaborate with other team members and to work in project teams supporting clients Candidate must be able to coordinate large cross-functional SAP projects Capable of leading client presentations and interacting directly with client senior leaders and internal division leaders to convey concepts effectively. Healthcare industry experience would be an asset. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor s or foreign degree equivalent in business administration engineering or related business or technical field. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Five to Seven (5-7) years of progressive experience in SAP Basis administration.
