Between those in the family and a large recently acquired collection we have 7 000-10 000 books. These encompass all genres and age groups. We have fiction and non-fiction hardbound paperback and coffee table toddler early reader and young teen history textbooks manuals self-help religious texts political scientific cooking historical fiction sci-fi romance and harlequin classics books of poetry comic books graphic novels vintage magazines even TimeLife series National Geographic coffee table books and even antique books in German. The list goes on and on and publishing dates are from present day to the 1870 s. There are first editions from recent (past 40 years) authors like Stephen King Nicholas Guild Danielle Steele John LeCarre Forsythe Follett Cook and Tom Clancy and first printings going back a century or more. We are still trying to organize and get a general sketch of the inventory but have a few purchase options right now 100 mixed hardbound books for 125 100 mixed paperback books for 75 All vintage or antique books which value at 10-25 I m selling in bundles for 5 or boxes for 4. There are quite a few books which could appraise at 30 - 150 or more. There are 150 or so children s books which I will divide by broad age range. I ve currently separated them into one box of toddler two boxes encompassing 2nd grade to young adult and children s books published pre 1970 - email for more info. All textbooks (approx. 200) for 350 or get smaller batches for 2.50 - 3.50 book There are hundreds of nice (not just inexpensively bound spiral) cookbooks. Make me an offer on all or a portion of them. Some are even quite vintage (1930 - 1970) and in good to great shape. There are also tons of Playboys from 1980 - 2000s vintage and antique magazines like Family Circle Time Women s Day etc. I would also love to speak with anyone out there who is a collector aficionado or otherwise knowledgeable on the value of antique books. There must be around 1000 books hailing from the 1870s through the 1940s. There are a few craigslist post which feature many images - message me and I will send you the links. This is a great opportunity to round out your library purchase inexpensively for resell boost your bookstore s stock give to a nursing home church or school library etc. We are VERY motivated to sell and will work with you within reason. We might even accept some payment through bartering.
