Next class begins January 4 2016. Become a certified RV Technician in the RV service industry. RV Training Center is a 10-week extensive RV Technician training course. The balance of our hands-on training is learning on our real RVs which sets us apart. Using onsite RVs gives students actual experience by allowing them to diagnose take out if necessary service and repair the problem. We also have shop projects and a tractor trailer load of training aids. At time customers bring their RVs in for repair during a section of our hands-on training and if the students have successfully completed that portion of the course they may be able to observe or do supervised repairs.. Students are given two RVTC T-shirts at beginning of class. They will also be provided two curriculum manuals and a thumb drive of the complete curriculum. We have Power Point presentations videos etc. to enhance learning. The RV industry is growing and desperately needs qualified certified RV technicians and we strive to meet that need as well as make training interesting and enjoyable. After the RV Training Center final technician test students have the option to take the RVDA RVIA RV technician certification test online. Our two instructors Sam Alsop is a RVTC Certified Master RV Technician and RVDA RVIA Master Certified RV Technician with 20 years in the RV industry and Wayne Boyle Certified Master RV Technician will train you to become a qualified Certified RV technicians. We are approved for VA funding programs www.gibill.va.gov (VA code 2-5-4815-10) Voc Rehab Workforce (W.I.O.A.) & Americorps. Amenities Students go on several field trips during training such as Tampa RV Supershow Industry Day Jan. 12 - part of our Winter class starting Jan. 4 2016.. Parliment Coach and LazyDays Camping World are also on our field trip list as time permits. We host a BBQ at the end of 5th week of training. At graduation students receive a 16 gb thumb drive RVTC certification patches diploma certification card and certification plaque. We go to a local restaurant for graduation lunch all included as RVTC s treat. Family members are also encouraged to attend. Members of FRVTA and RVIA.
