Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room Tripler Army Medical Center (contractor) Emergency Room Nurse - minimum of one year experience within the last three years in a Level II Emergency Room or in a critical care area of four or more beds as a registered nurse. Requires BLS ACLS and PALS Successful completion of certification for the following tasks Recognition of life threatening arrhythmias Defibrillation Emergency cardioversion Independent administration of emergency drugs (monitor mix administer titrate) Drawing and interpretation of arterial blood gases Suctioning Operation of Emergency Room equipment Observes manages patient flow through the Emergency Room. Triage patients referring to appropriate level of care Uses cardiac monitoring equipment interprets and responds appropriately to data. Perform arterial punctures.
