The Mental Health Treatment Clinician is responsible for providing therapeutic services and quality assurance to Mental Health Substance Abuse and other services which comprise individuals who experience severe emotional disturbance and other co-occurring disorders. The Clinician may provide some clinical consultation and training. This position works under general supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health Services. This position will obtain certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor within one year. Education & Experience Required Master s Degree in Social Work. Minimum of three years experience in the social services field and minimum of two years experience counseling adults and children who experience emotional disturbance mental illness and or developmental disabilities. LCSW license required. Valid driver s license proof of auto insurance. First Aid and CPR (if not certified must certify within 30 days of employment) TB test and the ability to pass a criminal background check. Preferred Credentials in substance abuse.
