The Yuneec Q500 4K Typhoon Quadcopter comes with the CGO3-GB Camera Steady Grip and Camera Aluminum Case. It is Ready to Fly - factory-assembled and a pre-bound transmitter ground station unit (radio controller) is included. More than just an RC multi-rotor the Q500 4K is designed for APV - aerial photography and video. To this end it incorporates the CGO3-GB a 3-axis gimbal-stabilized camera with 4K video recording 1080p video recording at up to 120 fps and shoots photos at 16-megapixels. The Q500 4K is bundled with the ST10 Personal Ground Station a 10-channel 2.4 GHz transmitter and 5.8 GHz video receiver rolled into one hand-held unit. In addition to traditional RC joysticks to pilot the quadcopter there is a built-in Android mobile device which boasts a 5.5 touchscreen - a bump from the original ST10 which has a 4.5 screen. It allows you to view an FPV (first-person view) video image from the camera along with telemetry data superimposed as well as access settings not available through normal transmitter. As part of the RTF bundle it features two 5400mAh flight batteries providing up to 25 minutes flying each per charge - depending on wind-resistance and other factors. Propellers The twist-on design makes assembly easy by simply rotating A and B labeled propellers. A propeller tool is also provided to help installation. Follow Me When Follow Me is enabled the aircraft is leashed to the pilot who is controlling the ST10 location. With this feature flying and capturing video following the pilot is easy flexible and intuitive. Watch Me When Watch Me is enabled the 4K camera stays pointed at the pilot holding the ST10 in focus and in frame no matter which way the drone is maneuvered. Dynamic Return Home Switch to Home Mode and the Typhoon will fly back towards the location of the pilot holding the ST10 and will automatically land within 13 to 26 feet (4 to 8 meters) of the pilot. Distortion-free Lens The CGO3 camera features a 115-degree wide-angle distortion-free lens that allows you to see the world just as is. Professional Camera Interface Real-time telemetry data made available on the screen during flight including flight mode altitude speed over ground distance from home camera status GPS position coordinates and aircraft battery status. Controls expected by professionals include adjustable video resolution and white balance while light exposure can be controlled automatically or manually including ISO and Shutter Speed.
