A small dynamic San Francisco Bay Area based repossession agency is looking to hire a driver repossessor trainee.Experience is NOT necessary as we will provide a complete training program. The duties will include assisting with the repossession of vehicles out in the field assist in driving the vehicles to the storage location and ultimately to the auction if needed. You would also assist in the inventory of personal property when needed.Duties would also include compiling written reports on pre-printed forms and filing them accordingly.This is a commission based part-time position that would ultimately transition into a full time position as the work and your competence permitted.The work hours will vary as we often work at night but we do run accounts in the daylight hours.As you progress and are allowed to work on your own you would work your own hours as you saw fit.You will be required to come into the office once a week (possibly twice to be determined) to update reports contact clients and brief the manager on accounts current needs suggestions requests and the like.The ideal candidate will be drug and disease free as proven by random drug screening.Honesty and trustworthiness are a must as you will be representing a financial institution and the handling of cash often occurs. Professional appearance is a must.Acceptable work attire are Khaki type pants or dockers and a polo type or button down collared shirt.Exceptional written and verbal skills good customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly both written and verbally are a must.An ideal candidate would also be very mechanically inclined and know their way around vehicles.The ability to follow instructions to the letter would also be appreciated.Written and verbal fluency in Spanish Chinese or any other foreign language would give you an added edge in the candidacy. Requirements for the position are as follows Clean (not necessarily blank but insurable) California Class C (minimum) driver license with a recent (within the last 2 weeks) DMV print out as proof. Candidates must be fingerprinted and pass a State of California Department of Justice and FBI background check.No felony convictions.
