Seeking Personal Assistant to care for Dad

Full time Part Time On call (F M) Personal assistants needed (Mariner s Harbor Arlington area of Staten Island.) Compensation 10 hr plus vacation days annual raise and other benefits (on the books through NY State CDPAP program www.coiny.org). Coverage is needed for 7 days a week 2 x 12. Hours are 7 am to 7 pm. And 7 pm to 7 am (Awake Overnight) Seeking non-smoking (Daughter extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke. From a smoke free home.) People to become or who are already are Personal Assistants. Must be comfortable with a large dogs (aloof and service dog (Breed) Afghan Hound.) Working knowledge and understanding of hand washing cookware (washing) and food preparation handling a plus. I am willing to train and assist the personal assistant. No formal HHA certification required. No GED or Diploma NEEDED. Must be 18 years old and able to work in USA. (Work Eligibility Docs (US passport US birth certificate green card) SS card Paid (No cost to you) Physical exam PPD with immunization (MMRV) lab works - Must include titers. last 12 months HEP C vac available at no cost) Flu shots encouraged. Client is 90 year old male who resides with his family. He has Parkinson s Dementia and Alzheimer s. You will assist Daughter in caring for aging father. Dad uses a walker sometimes a wheelchair and at times he requires transfer monitoring. Duties include monitoring and assisting with ADL s bathing grooming dressing laundry cleaning bathrooms kitchen living dinning room cook and prepare 6-7 meals a day (Supplement Meals on Wheels Deliveries) (can freeze and reheat) exercise program shopping dr. appointments vitals medication administration at direction of daughter. As well as other duties as asked.
