The farmers plough the field for month s together using the plough and the bullocks and works all day under extreme harsh conditions be it rain summers or the harsh winters .The wife or the children get his mid-day meal with is just plain roti s without any vegetable or curry and lots of water .The plough is attached to the bullock who then pulls the plough to dig the field to throw in the seeds for germination. The bullocks are attached to cart which is made by putting in planks of wood .It resembles a cart in which the farmer loads his produce to sell it to the market. It is a pitiable sight to see the farmer under debts. A farmer lives under debts and dies under debts. The bullock cart is the means of transportation for the farmer and for his family. The bullock cart symbolises that India is still grounded and not away from its roots which is agriculture. The farmer sits in cart and takes the leash in his hand with a small wooden rods or a hunter to slightly pat on the back of the bullocks which acts as a direction for the animal to go forward. The bullock cart does not require any kind of fuel for locomotion. The knob is made in ceramic with hand painted sketch of a bullock cart with wheels and the entire cart with all the attachments .The background is in white colour and the sketch is in black colour which makes it look very rustic at the same time very vintage. The bullock cart knob should be placed ideally in the kid s room furniture to explain the importance of agriculture.
