Maintenance Mechanic

The Biloxi Community Development Corporation a subsidiary of the Biloxi Housing Authority is seeking to fill the position of Maintenance Mechanic. This position will be filled according to the personnel policy. OPEN August 5 2015 CLOSED Until position is filled Summary Description Responsible for the maintenance and general repairs of interior and exterior of housing development buildings and facilities employing a high degree of skill in the areas of carpentry plumbing electrical mechanical and related trade fields. Must possess a HVAC certification. Tasks are performed in one or more trades or crafts with minimal supervision. Qualifications and Knowledge High School graduate (or GED). Must be HVAC certified. Five year s experience or training in building construction or maintenance. Experience in the repair or maintenance of mechanical equipment. Preferable licensed in one or more of these trades. Good degree of skill in one or more trade crafts and working knowledge of all maintenance crafts. Valid Mississippi Driver s License. Eligible of coverage under fleet auto insurance.
