Advertising Sales Executive needed for an established award-winning newspaper group based in Newburgh NY. The ideal candidate will be professional entrepreneurial motivated and passionate about community newspapers. You will be responsible for selling advertising for our three weekly publications plus special sections and events throughout the year. You will service well established accounts in an assigned territory and maintain these existing customer relationships while acquiring new business prospects and leads. You will be the face of our newspapers and will be expected to present yourself to ad agencies business owners and key decision makers regarding our advertising in an articulate and positive manner. Must be able to work independently have good communications skills be personable and have good communication skills over the phone. Hours are flexible but may vary and may sometimes require evenings and weekends to call on clients when they are available at their businesses. This is not a work from home position. Advertising sales executives are expected to be in the office on a regular basis and for weekly sales meeting. Requirements -Ability to establish own leads -Ability to close deals -Ability to process ad orders in a timely and organized manner and meet deadlines -Reliable Car -Computer Knowledge -Punctual and reliable-Professional and courteous -Detail orientated and organized Preferred (But not required) -Track record in advertising sales -Internet sales experience -Bilingual (Spanish) 10 per hour benefits generous commission and mileage.
