Looking at the button knob one is reminded of the childhood days where we use to get ready for school wearing white crispy cotton shirt as a part of the uniform. The uniform was the most important part of school .The uniform had to be very neat and tidy and any discrepancies would result in severe punishment. The uniform consisted of a shirt and a pant for boys and a shirt and a skirt for the girls. The accessories comprised of ties belts and Identity cards. The another important thing was to maintain a clean washed and ironed uniform so as to maintain the standard of discipline of the school .The shirt required white buttons need to button the shirt or else it would not be suitable to cover the body of the students. The buttons were made of plastic and then fixed to the shirt with the help of thread and needle sewed in regular pattern. Care had to be taken to keep a check on the uniform so that there is nothing left out .A white required a white button and black fabric requires a black button. Normally a shirt requires 5 to 6 buttons but more buttons can also be fixed. The button on the shirt was smaller in comparison to the lowers coats or a dress. There are a wide range of buttons available in different colours to match the fabric. Buttons are also used in a lot of art and craft works .The buttons can be glued to a wooden or cardboard frame to create a photo frame or create an interesting piece of craft work to be kept for display. The buttons shown here are handmade of ceramic in actual button design .Utmost care has been taken to ensure that it resembles the same appearance as that of the actual button. Four holes have been made in squared pattern which show the needle and thread sowed in the holes. The buttons are available in a wide range of colour to suit the furniture on which it is fixed. Use it for your kids room as well the bedroom furniture. 33 Sundar nagar New Delhi India Pin Code 110003 Mobile No. - 9811985090 Email Id shalu.indianshelf(at)gmail.com Website www.indianshelf.com
