When we simultaneously cross that with the relevance of disposable decorative objects there is an interesting correlation that occurs. Just as what covers our walls can define the character of a room our memories are what define our ideas of self and give us a sense of linear time. The memories that sit inside of our aging minds are a lot like the old wallpaper in a house that is faded discolored and peeling off the surface.
