KPT Precision INC. is currently hiring CNC Machinist to join our team Position Type Full-time Permanent Start date - ASAP Specific Skills - Read and interpret blue prints operate and set-up machines to perform machining operations verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g. micrometers calipers) perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.Knowledge ofG-Code.structure. Knowledge of Mastercam. Knowledge of a variety of QC equipment Other Skills- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs read text document use numeracy communication working with others problem solving decision making critical thinking job task planning and organizing significant use of memory finding information continuous learning. Type of Machine Tools - Lathe Machine Working Conditions and Capabilities - Machine shop manual dexterity attention to detail eye-hand coordination Required experience - CNC Lathe 1 year Education - Completion of High school completion of college CEGEP vocational or technical training Hours of work Moring or Afternoon (8 hour shifts Mon - Fri) (hours may vary based on the need of the business and some Saturdays may be required).
